ASIA PHOTO SLIDESHOW

ASIA ODYSSEY 2009 - Part I from Jennifer Liseo on Vimeo.

Asis Odyssey 2009 -
Part II from Jennifer Liseo on Vimeo.

Three years ago, Nance and I took a month to travel around China and Vietnam with two friends who were in the midst of their journey around the world.  We had the good fortune to experience big cities, small villages, taste local flavors, see historical sites, extraordinary landscapes and meet amazing people.  It was a culture and language so foreign, that I became lost - in the best way possible!

These videos reveal a glimpse of our journey via my camera stills.

PICO MEANS LITTLE

Here are some photos from a recent shoot for pico jewelry line (picomeanslittle.com).  I had the pleasure of working with Andrea Panico (jewelry designer / owner) and model Larah Moravek (interior designer) in creating a photo series of the jewelry on people.  Visit the website to see more images from both her Little Architecture collection and Frank Lloyd Wright line.

HOI AN, VIETNAM

In October/November 2009, Nance and I had the amazing opportunity to join our friends in a backpacking adventure through China and Vietnam for 23 days. I took about 2000 pictures total. The experience broadened my mind and humbled my soul in ways. I will be putting together a slideshow to share with friends and family. In the meantime, these are a few shots from our last stop in Hoi An, Vietnam.

KEYWAY

This is a new solar plate etching and chine colle of a couple on their wedding day. It is inspired by a portrait I took digitally of them in the wine cellar bar area before making their reception debut. The picture was taken through the large gated door keyhole. The overall print is 14 x 9.5 and the etching itself is 4.5 x 3. I like the intimacy and the vintage quality of this print. It's something that you have to walk up to, and peer into to see what's going on. A small treasure of a moment.

SARIS, JEWELS AND HANDS

This is a portrait I took at a wedding as the professional photographer was setting up a posed family shot.  I printed this on Metallic paper to enhance the saturated colors and touches of gold.

DIVING INTO BLOG WORLD

Where to begin?  I thought I would share my most recent photo shoot with you.  Here are a few pictures of Hudson Joseph Burnett, my best friends first baby.  These were taken with my Canon EF Lens - 50mm - f/1.8.  I've been building my portfolio with many baby and wedding photos lately, as these milestones seem to be popular at my age.
